WAUSAU (WAOW) -- This weekend's bitter cold weather didn't stop some people in Wausau from teeing off for a good cause.
About 150 golfers came out for the 17th annual Ice Tee Classic. It benefited the Neighbor's Place -- an organization that helps needy families in our area. Executive director Tom Rau said the event raised close to $5,000 for the organization.
"I should have known that here in Wausau, we're used to cold winters and the sun was shining so people were willing to come out and willing to support our event again this year," said Rau.
