Granton School Board Member and former radio news director Paul Knoff announced his bid for Wisconsin State Assembly Monday night.
"After covering the area for 15 years, I know the people here and I know their values. I know how government operates and I know what needs to be fixed," Knoff said.
Knoff has already brought together a bi-partisan group of supporters to advise him on key issues. He is running as a Democrat.
Knoff says campaign finance reform will be a main focus of his candidacy.
Knoff will officially launch his campaign Saturday, February 18, with stops in Curtiss, Neillsville, and Marshfield.
More snow, freezing rain, sleet, and wind on the way.
