(WAOW) - Tuesday, 10 area hockey teams will try to get one step closer to state as sectional semifinals hit the ice.
In Wausau, fifth-seeded Mosinee will visit top seed Wausau West. The Indians beat the Warriors 4-3 earlier this season. That was Mosinee's first win over West since 2008, when the Indians beat the Warriors to advance to state.
Since then, West has advanced to two straight state finals, but with a win over the Warriors already in hand, Mosinee has plenty of confidence heading into Tuesday's matchup.
