BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) -- Argentine police have identified the 51st victim of Wednesday's train wreck as Lucas Menghini Rey, whose family's desperate search was emblematic of anger at the failure to protect people from long-known safety problems.
Argentina's official Telam news agency and Channel 7 said sources investigating the crash confirmed the identification.
Family and friends erupted in tears and shouts at the news, while others vented their fury at riot police in the station.
While the cause remains under investigation, many commuters blame the government. Word of Menghini Rey's death prompted the angry crowd to shout "throw them all out," a phrase often used a decade earlier when public outrage forced a series of presidents to resign.
