Emily T. Kluck age 85, of Stevens Point, died February 26, 2012 at Harmony Assisted Living. Per Emily's wishes private graveside services will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial for St. Stanislaus Catholic Church will be established in her name.
Emily was born March 18, 1926 in the Town of Sharon, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Kiedrowski) Gierszewski.
At the age of nine months she came to Stevens Point, and was raised by her Joseph and Mary (Gierszewski) Fox, her Aunt and Uncle.
She married Wesley Kluck in September 16, 1944 at St. Peters Catholic Church. She and Wesley have been members of St. Stanislaus Church since 1944, she has been a rosary society member since 1946.
Emily worked at St. Michaels Hospital and the Portage County Home before her career of 32 years at the University Food Service. She was instrumental in arranging a pension plan for the university food service employees. After retirement she did volunteer work at St. Michaels Hospital and the Portage County Home for about 10 years.
She and her husband enjoyed their many fishing trips in their motor home. They went on a Mediterranean Cruise to Poland with Wesley's nephew and his wife, and celebrated their 50 year wedding anniversary with a trip to Poland.
Emily is survived by her husband Wesley; daughter Corrine A. (Bob) Peck of Nevada. Two sons, Norbert (Shirley) Kluck, Mosinee; and Warren Kluck, Rosholt. Five Grandchildren: Jessica, Shaena (Adam Johns), Elizabeth (Zach) Hessner, Karla Kluck, and Jackson Kluck. 2 great-grand children Parker and William. Her sister Loretta Check Rosholt, three brothers Norbert Fox Stevens Point; Alvin (Wanda) Gierszewski, New Berlin; Myron (Helen) Gierszewski, Random Lake.
She is proceeded in death by her daughter Audrey Pottruff, her sister Theresa Yach two Brothers Alphonse and Stanley Gierszewski.
