Last year, the Merrill boys' basketball team rolled to its first state title appearance in 47 years. 
On Tuesday night, the Blue Jays hoping to start another strong run. They open Division 2 playoff action against Mosinee.  
Merrill wins 51-42, they'll face Antigo on Friday.  

Moving up to Division 1, Wausau West visiting Eau Claire Memorial.  This one goes to double overtime.  Old Abes lead by one with a few ticks left, Brad Utegaard trying to beat the buzzer, but he's fouled in the act of shooting a three-pointer, with no time left.  He hits two of three free throws, as the Warriors win 53-52 in double overtime.  They'll face DC Everest in round two.
