ABBOTSFORD (WAOW) -

Dozens of investigators are on scene at the Abby Theatre in Abbotsford as the investigation continues into a fatal fire, officials said Wednesday.

Jamison Kampmeyer, 34, a volunteer firefighter from Colby, died battling the blaze Sunday afternoon. Four other firefighters were injured. They were treated and released.

At a news conference Wednesday afternoon, Abbotsford Fire Chief Jody Apfelbeck said investigators from local and national agencies are looking into what caused the fire. He said 10 agents from the Department of Criminal Investigation and 25 agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives are on scene.

Apfelbeck took no questions at Wednesday's news conference. He said the investigation is ongoing.
