Virginia E. Noble age 90 of Plover passed away Saturday March 10, 2012 at Point Manor under the care of Ministry Hospice.

Funeral services for Virginia will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at Point Manor Chapel.  Rev. George Thayilkuzhithottu MSFS will officiate.  Burial will be at the St. Bronislava Cemetery.

Shuda Funeral Service is assisting the family.

Virginia was born March 24, 1921 in Hinton, WV, the daughter of Carl and Hallie (Harvey) Mooney.  She graduated from Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA.  She was employed as a secretary at Purdue University.  Virginia married Joseph Noble on June 1, 1946 in Bluefield, WV.  The couple settled in Iowa City, IA for a few years before moving to Rockford, IL, and raised their family there.  After Joseph's death in 1987, Virginia moved to Plover in 1988.  She was a very polite and humble person who was a secretary for W.A Whitney in Rockford, enjoyed being a seamstress, but most of all loved being a wife and mother.

She is survived by her 5 children: Casey (Kerry) Noble, Loveland, CO; Colleen (Jodie) Newell, Rockford; Shannon (Joseph) Girardi, Chicago; Kelly (Don) Aanrud, Amherst Jct; Cathy (Chuck Post) Wievel, Stevens Point.  One brother: Bill (Sylvia) Mooney, Hermitage, TN.  8 grandchildren: Nicole and John Newell, Siri and Liv Aanrud, Emily and Jake Wievel, Zach and Sami Noble. 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph and her sister Helen.
