STEVENS POINT (WAOW)--There will be no trial for the Portage County man accused of plotting to kill his wife. Instead, he is expected to enter a new plea to the charge in April.
Prosecutors tell Newsline 9, 51 year old Rocky Neuman has reached a plea agreement. Details of the deal haven't been released. What we do know is Neuman will avoid a trial on a charge of plotting to commit first degree murder. The charge, carries a 60-penalty.
Investigators say Neuman asked a roommate to dig a grave for his wife because he planned to kill her. The roommate went to police, resulting in Neuman's arrest last June.
