MADISON (WKOW) -- The Badgers men's basketball team held shoot-arounds at "the Pit" in Albuquerque on Wednesday in advance of their NCAA tournament debut against Montana.
The last time the Badgers played at the Pit in the NCAA tournament, they made it all the way to the Final Four.
Of course, no one from this year's Badgers team was there; not even head coach Bo Ryan. And Coach Ryan says the history Wisconsin has at the Pit is just that... history.
"This is our guys' time. Those 15 players that'll be out there in red and white; this is their time. They hear different things different places that we go, but these 15 guys, this is their moment, and it's pretty important to them. I'm just trying to make this experience for them the best I can," said Ryan.
The Badgers tip off against Montana at 1:10 p.m. CST on Thursday. The game will be televised on TNT.
