Preliminary autopsy report released for UWSP student

Preliminary autopsy reports show that UWSP student Eric Duffey died from an accidental drowning. The Portage County coroner confirmed these results on Friday. The coroner is still awaiting toxicology reports.

Stevens Point police officers confirm they don't expect foul play in Duffey's death.

21-year-old Duffey was reported missing after leaving Joe's Bar in downtown Stevens Point early Saturday morning on March 3rd. After an extensive search effort, Duffey's body was found in the Wisconsin River in Stevens Point last Monday.
