Clarence C. Stencel, 85, of Rosholt, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at the Portage County Health Care Center.
He was born on June 18, 1925, in Rosholt to the late Joseph and Martha (Wanta) Stencel.
Clarence was a dairy farmer and had also worked in a factory in Milwaukee and bartended in Rosholt in his younger years.
He enjoyed fishing and the company of others; and he was very mechanically handy.
Survivors include nephews, Duane Dudek, Mark Dudek and Craig Ancel, along with many other nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his brother, Hubert; sisters, Henrietta Dudek, Virginia Ancel and Irene Milanowski.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt with the Rev. Greg Michaud officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
