Kenneth E. Vesely, 76 of Weston, passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born on October 19, 1935 in Mosinee, son of the late Edward and Mary (Sirney) Vesely. He served in the US Army, stationed in Korea following the conflict there. Kenneth married Doris Mohr on January 14, 1961 in Marathon. He worked at Greenheck Fan for 37 years, and after retiring from there he worked for the CW Auto Auction in Weston.
Kenneth was a huge sports fan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to polka music. He also enjoyed carpentry, and was able to build just about anything.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Doris Vesely of Weston; three daughters, Linda (Joe) Hytry of Mosinee, Sandy (Dave) Albrecht of Kronenwetter, and Bonnie (Ted) Gotchy of Kronenwetter; six grandchildren, Alicia (Jason Rasmussen) Cramer, Nikki, Adam and Samantha Albrecht, Jacklyn and Jake Gotchy; great-grandson, Eden; six siblings, Mildred (Jack) Schaefer, Rib Mountain, Harold (Sally) Vesely, Mosinee, Gordon (Judy) Vesely, Menomonie Falls, Russell (Laurie) Vesely, Marathon, Vernon (Marge) Vesely, Mosinee, and Ellie (Jim) Reisch of Milton; and sister-in-law, Kathy Vesely of Mosinee.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry, Carol, and Rita.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 113 W. Kort St. Rothschild. The Rev. Norman Boneck will officiate. Burial will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Kronenwetter at a later date. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
