MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Junior Jazmine Harris scored a game-high 17 points Saturday as Heritage Christian led wire-to-wire to beat Owen-Withee, 79-51, to win the WIAA Division 5 state title.

Heritage Christian (24-4) had four players in double figures. The team shot 52 percent overall to win its first state championship in its first appearance.

The Patriots led 20-17 with 5:24 remaining in the second quarter, but closed the first half on a 20-8 run. Heritage Christian's lead never dipped below 13, as the Patriots outscored the Blackhawks 19-5 on second-chance points and converted 31 turnovers into 29 points.

Sophomore Bailey Karaba scored 13 points for Owen-Withee (25-4), which finished as a state runner-up for the fourth time after beating two-time defending state champion Newman Catholic on Thursday.
