2 alleged drug dealers charged in I-43 shooting

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Two alleged Milwaukee drug dealers have been charged with first-degree intentional homicide in the death of one man and the attempted killing of another March 18 in an incident that blocked traffic for hours on Interstate 43.

Donovan Bond was killed and Anthony Perkins was wounded by shots fired from another car alongside them. Perkins managed to climb into the back seat, open up the back door and get out of the car before it rolled down a hill and onto I-43.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports 25-year-old Louis Manuel Hernandez and 20-year-old Joshua Rosa were charged Sunday with first-degree intentional homicide and attempted first-degree homicide. The first count carries a lifetime prison sentence. The other could result in 60 years. Online jail records don't list attorneys for either man.
