Newsline 9 Area Wrestling All-Stars Part I

To kick off this year's Wrestling All-Stars, we have Zach Sirny of Wild Rose Wautoma.  Sirny went undefeated this season at 46-0 and won the individual title at the state tournament.

Next at 113, we have Philip Opelt from Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal.
The junior finished in 5th place at state with a 48-7 record.
At 120 pounds is the Division 1 champ from Wausau West.
Colin Baine took out the undefeated defending state champ in the individual final in Madison to earn his gold medal.
Next is his teammate Joe Umlauf at 126.
Umlauf went 49-3 as an injury slowed him down in the state championship match.  It was his third straight appearance at state.
Nathaniel Behnke from Bruce is our All-Star at 132 pounds.
The senior was the 4th place finisher in the state in Division 3, finishing with a 42-5 record.
Next at 138 pounds is Keegan Einerson from the state champion Wisconsin Rapids team.
The former individual state champion was 35-4 as a senior, and took a second place finish as an individual in Madison.
And in 145 pounds is senior Jordan Roosa of Mosinee.
Roosa is headed to Mankato State to play football after going 37-6 in his senior season.
That goes with a third place finish at state.
