Dennis A. Hass, 56, Tigerton, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at his home under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
He was born on November 25, 1955 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Arthur and Lily Ann (Hoffmann) Hass.
Dennis was a U.S. Army Veteran.
On June 13, 1992, Dennis was united in marriage to Gloria (nee Yonker) Low at Zion Lutheran Church, Tigerton. She survives.
Dennis worked as a welder at Jarp Industries and was an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed camping, snowmobiling, hunting and gardening but he especially loved the time he spent with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria Hass, Tigerton, five children; Lynne (Donald) Schmid, Tigerton, LaRae (Dan Bork) Low, Wittenberg, Luann (Jerry) Harris, Tigerton, Loretta (Steve) Olson, Bowler and Lance (Katrina) Low, Antigo, eight grandchildren; Axel, Cory (Cortney), Cody, Casey (Severin), Delby, Zachary, Matthew and Kendra, one great-grandson; Landon, two brothers; Duane (Trina) Hass, Minnesota and Todd Hass, Texas and one sister; Denise (Tim) Overpriller, Minnesota. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his loving canine companion, Rocky.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg. Rev. John Hielsberg will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Tigerton with military rites conducted by the Schlender-Polley American Legion Post #239, Tigerton.
