Flora "Dollie" Barwick, 97 of Weston, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Kennedy Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.
She was born in Weston on May 1, 1914, daughter of the late Fabian and Julia (Costa) Corazalla. She married W. Ernest Barwick on September 15, 1936 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Wausau. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1997.
Dollie enjoyed many things during her life, including baking, gardening, canning, sewing, quilting, and travelling in the US, Europe, Canada and Mexico. She loved shooting pool, playing cards, going to the casino, and beating everyone at her favorite game – Scrabble. She was also an avid Packer fan. Dollie was a member of the Catholic Daughters and St. Therese Parish in Rothschild.
Survivors include three daughters, Joan (Monte) Cofell, Rothschild, Judy (Jim) Wojcik, Schofield, and Jan Barwick, Madison; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie; brothers, Charles, Max, Michael, and John Corazalla; sisters, Anna Pyke and Rose Babl, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 113 W. Kort St., Rothschild. The Rev. Janusz Kowalski will officiate. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Wausau. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
