(CNN)--An election recall has officially been ordered against Republican governor Scott Walker.
Wisconsin's Government Accountability Board voted five-to-zero today (Friday) to order the recall.
That's after more than 900-thousand signatures on petitions were collected to force a vote.
Walker was targeted after he pushed through a law last year ending collective bargaining for most state workers.
If a Democratic primary is necessary, it will be held May 8th.
The actual recall vote will then be held on June 5th.
