The Vilas Co. Sheriff's department says a plane made an emergency landing in a field southeast of Phelps.
According to a press release the Minneapolis Flight Center reported the information just after 6 P.M. on Sunday.
The pilot and two passengers were reported to be uninjured.
The sheriff's office was able to locate the plane and the pilot. No one was injured and the plane was intact.
The pilot told authorities he made the emergency landing because he was experiencing oil pressure problems with the plane's engine.
