Voters will notice changes as they head to the polls Tuesday
WAOW--Voters may notice some changes when they cast their ballots Tuesday. Some of those new rules include having to sign a poll list.
The Government Accountability Board says this cuts down on the chances of election fraud. City clerks say to give yourself some extra time at the polls.
You can no longer have someone else verify that you are a resident. And even though the voter ID law is not currently in effect, the GAB recommends bringing your ID to the polls.
"It might be helpful to bring your ID anyway because there's a slight chance that the Supreme Court could at the last minute weigh in and change things. At this point, no photo ID is required," GAB spokesperson Reid Magney said.
