OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Police say the gunman who shot and killed seven people at a California college was looking for a female administrator when he went to the building.

Oakland Police Chief Howard Jordan said at a news conference on Tuesday morning that 43-year-old One L. Goh began randomly shooting people after learning the administrator was not there.

Seven people died in the shooting on Monday at Oikos University in Oakland and three others were wounded.
