Officials at a Green Bay-based trucking company are assessing damage after tornadoes tore through the Dallas-Fort Worth area, tossing trucks from Schneider National into the air.
Janet Bonkowski, Schneider spokeswoman, said there are no reports of injuries, but not everyone is accounted for yet. She planned to have more information after a conference call Tuesday afternoon.
Bonkowski said there were 254 trucks and 204 trailers at the yard at the time the storm hit. The yard is located in Dallas.
Between 200-300 trucks and drivers come in and out of the Schneider Dallas location every day, said Bonkowski. There are 65 Schneider employees that work at that facility.
The National Weather Service reported two tornadoes in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with several other twisters developing.
