VILAS COUNTY (WAOW) - Investigators are searching for a fourth day for a missing Vilas County woman. Authorities say two K9 units and about a dozen people are looking for Sandra Schinke.
The Sayner woman was reportedly last seen Thursday, on two different occassions, walking on County Highway N, just east of Sayner.
Investigators say their strongest leads are on Highway N, between Plum Lake Drive and Lakewood Drive.
They say they put out a red alert in for a 2 1/2 mile radius.
They're not sure whether foul play could be involved in her disappearance.
Schinke's family members tell Newsline 9 it's not like her to leave without getting in contact with them.
Her husband, Jim Schinke, had been out of the state for work when Schinke's family realized she was missing. She was reported missing Friday.
SAYNER (WAOW)-- The search continued, Sunday, for a missing woman in Vilas County.
55-year-old Sandra Schinke was reported missing on April 6, 2012 at 9:00 p.m.
She was last seen Thursday, April 5th between 2 and 3 p.m. walking on CTH N about 2 miles east of Sayner.
Authorities tells Newsline 9 her husband, who was out of town, called police after his wife didn't answer his calls.
Police say a neighbor say Schinke walk home carrying groceries Thursday afternoon.
That was the last time she was seen.
At this time, foul play is not suspected. The search will continue on Monday.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Vilas Co. Sheriff's Department.
