Not guilty plea entered for man police say is responsible for harmful fireworks
ADAMS COUNTY (WAOW)--Nine months after a fireworks display in Adams County went terribly wrong, the man police say is responsible had a not-guilty plea entered for him today.
Officials say Michael Rose was in charge of the display that left 11 on-lookers injured.
An Adams County court official says Rose stood silent in court and a not-guilty plea was entered. His attorney requested a different judge.
The court official says that will be randomly assigned. They say three counts, including negligent use of an explosive, are moving forward. That's despite the fact that the judge said there was only enough evidence for one.
Officials say there were no objections to proceed with all three.
