UPDATE: Mosinee woman gets 8 years in prison in death of ex-boyfriend
WAUSAU (WAOW) -
A Mosinee woman was sentenced July 20th on a charge of first degree reckless homicide in the death of her ex-boyfriend.
Brittanie Robbins will serve eight years in prison and eight more years under extended supervision.
She received the same sentence on other drug charges.
The sentences will be served at the same time and she's credited with 347 days served.
Brittanie Robbins is scheduled for sentencing July 20th in Marathon County court this morning. She faces 42 years in prison on a charge of reckless homicide and 14 years each for three other drug charges.
A Mosinee woman has pleaded no contest to first degree reckless homicide.
Investigators say last August, Brittanie Robbins, 22, sold heroin twice to Justin Selves, her former boyfriend, the day before he died.
Robbins and four others were arrested when authorities found heroin and cocaine at a Wausau motel.
Robbins also pleaded no contest to other drug charges. She'll be sentenced in July. She faces 42 years in prison for the reckless homicide charge, and 14 years each for three other drug charges.
