Nestle's Zurich offices have agreed to pay close to 12-billion dollars for Pfizer Incorporated's infant nutrition business.
The deal could help the Swiss food giant expand in emerging markets and solidify its top spot in the global baby-formula market, according to the Wall Street Journal.
It's Nestle's largest purchase sine January 2001 - when the company bought U-S pet-food company Ralston Purina for roughly 10 million dollars.
Chance of a shower or T-storm Sunday, otherwise the weekend forecast is looking good.
