Village of Weston attorney Richard Weber says they are appealing a judge's decision to put a bus line decision in the hands of voters.
He says the village has also written the referendum that was called for when Judge Mike Moran ruled in favor of a group that wants the village keep the bus service.
The referendum will be on the June 5th ballot.
Weber says the estimated cost for a bus line in 2013 would be $231,774.13.
He says the 2011 share of the cost, when Rothschild and Schofield were involved, was $105,000.
The village said it had to cancel the service because of budget concerns.
As temperatures in North Central Wisconsin rise, so do concerns about flooding.
