Sect publishes video of Nigeria newspaper attack

LAGOS, Nigeria (AP) -- A radical Islamist sect has published video of a suicide car bombing it carried out at the office of a Nigerian newspaper and promised more attacks against journalists.

The 18-minute video posted Tuesday to YouTube shows a smiling suicide bomber minutes before driving an explosive-laden sport utility vehicle into the offices of the influential newspaper ThisDay. The blast April 26 in Nigeria's capital Abuja killed at least three people.

The video also had an unnamed man threaten a number of other newspapers, as well as the Hausa language services of the Voice of America and Radio France International.

Boko Haram is waging an increasingly bloody sectarian fight against Nigeria's weak central government.
