ONEIDA COUNTY (WAOW) -
UPDATE - A Rhinelander man was sentenced to six years in prison for making and delivering heroin. Rogerick Simmons will also have four years extended supervision.
He was arrested in May, along with five other people, as part of an Oneida County drug investigation.

UPDATE - Rogerick Simmons pleaded no contest to amended manufacturing/delivering heroin charges and was found guilty. Sentencing is scheduled for September 5th.

Authorities arrested six people accused of selling and using heroin.
Sheriff Jeffrey Hoffman and Rhinelander Police Chief Mike Steffes issued a press release, officers arrested Rogerick E. Simmons, age 44, of Rhinelander, Paul N. Dietz, age 31, of Rhinelander, Veronica J. Wells, age 37, of Rhinelander, Dominique A. Jones, age 20, of Rhinelander , Elliot J. Boyer, age 21, of Rhinelander, and Clifford L. Dutton, age 29, of Rhinelander.
According to the press release, all have been referred to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office for various drug-related charge. This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
