Governor campaigns in Eau Claire as voters head to the polls

While voters headed to the polls the governor hit the road for some last minute campaigning.

Governor Scott Walker was in Eau Claire Tuesday morning.   Walker wanted to remind voters that he's on the ballot.  Much of the focus has been on the Democrats who want to face him in June, but the governor himself is also in a primary contest.  There's been some talk of Republicans crossing over to vote for the Democrat they feel the governor has the best chance of beating in a recall election.

"Most people, even when I was up in Eau Claire on Saturday, didn't even know I had a primary," says Gov. Scott Walker, (R) Wisconsin.  "So it's the combination of the Democrats have a primary combined with the, like you say, the potential for some to have a protest candidate, some of the protestors might try and do something, whether or not it's victorious, isn't as important as the message it might send."

Walker is being challenged by Arthur Kohl-Riggs to be the Republican on the ballot in June.
