MADISON (AP) -
Republican Gov. Scott Walker says his challenger Tom Barrett is making a "desperate attack" by requesting that he release more emails from his time as Milwaukee County executive related to an issue being examined as part of a secret investigation.
Barrett on Monday called on Walker to release emails related to a secret wireless Internet system installed near his office, which has been part of the ongoing investigation into county workers doing campaign work during public time.
Walker says he has talked more about the ongoing John Doe probe "more than any person has in the state of Wisconsin." He says Barrett's campaign is "desperate" and trying to distract from other issues in the campaign.
