UPDATE: Storm watches expire across central Wisconsin


Severe thunderstorm watches have expired for central Wisconsin,

Tornado watches previously issued for multiple counties have expired.

Wisconsin Public Service has also reported power outages across the viewing area. As of 10:15 p.m. Thursday, more than 8,500 customers were affected by outages.

The hardest hit places include Minocqua (more than 1,900 customers), Eagle River (more than 800 customers), and Rhinelander (more than 1,300 customers).

Power outages were also reported in Antigo, Merrill, Stevens Point, Tomahawk, Wabeno, Waupaca, and Wausau.
