Wausau police say a 10-year-old girl was found safe Thursday afternoon after she was reported missing.
Authorities shut down Marathon Park around 3 p.m. after family members reported they couldn't find the girl in the campground area.
Dispatchers then began calling area businesses so they could keep an eye out for the girl.
Police say one of those calls to a nearby Walgreens led them to her.
"We're always looking for information of who may have seen her and in this case they actually the child in the store with them," Deputy Chief Bryan Hilts said.
Authorities say the girl was found safe and reunited with a parent.
The search lasted for around 30 minutes.
