Organizers say more than 5,000 people attended North Central Technical College's dairy breakfast.
The annual event was special this year, the breakfast celebrated NTC's 100th anniversary. School leaders say the event is about much more than just the pancakes served.
"What we are trying to do is say hey support education, the technical college system will be there for many people in the future and where the jobs of the future are at," said Lori Weyers, NTC President. "We are glad to see them supporting the technical college system and NTC."
Organizers say part of the money raised will go toward agricultural scholarships.
