Hundreds of people are camping
outside in Wausau
tonight. It's the city's 17th annual Relay for Life.
Organizers say they hope to raise
more than $170,000 and it goes toward cancer research.
The all-night camp out has people
staying up, trying to raise as much money as they can.
"We start with a survivor lap and
then we do an illumination to remember those who we have lost or are still
struggling," American Cancer Society leader Laural Harder said.
The event runs through nine tomorrow
morning. Organizers say you can donate to Relay for Life through August.
More snow, freezing rain, sleet, and wind on the way.
