A house explosion in southern Minnesota has severely injured a man.
The house, located a mile north of Freeborn, exploded Friday afternoon. A medical helicopter flew Ralph William Yotter away.
The Albert Lea Tribune reports Yotter suffered burns to his face and body.
Yotter's wife, Patricia, did not suffer burns. She was the one who called authorities.
The explosion happened around 1:15 p.m. By 2:20 p.m. the fire had been reduced to a smolder.

It was a successful weekend hunt for numerous area kids who bagged their very first deer.
