CMN Miracle Child: Tyler Toth

Posted:

The annual Children's Miracle Network telethon took place on June 2nd and 3rd in Marshfield. At the event several children and their families got the chance to share their stories with viewers and participants. One child was 16-year-old Tyler Toth.

In March 2011, the Stetsonville teen went into cardiac arrest. Doctors at Ministry Saint Joseph's Children's Hospital shocked his heart five times to get it going again. He was without a heartbeat for twenty-two minutes. Tyler spent the next sixty-two days in the hospital learning how to walk, talk and eat again.

When thinking back Tyler said, "I can't honestly remember all the stuff I've been through."

The Children's Miracle Network received more than $693,000 in donations which will all stay in central Wisconsin to help sick and injured children and their families. For more information about fundraising or events, please visit cmnwi.org.
