A part of Highway 66 between Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point is scheduled to close Monday until October.
Crews will close the stretch between those cities to begin road work and bridge replacements. Work is scheduled to be finished by October 12, 2012.
In the meantime, traffic will be detoured on Highway 34, Portage County P, and County Highway HH. Transportation officials say drivers should plan ahead and allow more travel time.
