UPDATE: Plea hearing set for Vilas County burglary suspect


UPDATE - Lindsey Adams has a plea/sentencing hearing scheduled for October 17th.  She pleaded not guilty in July to charges that include burglary and theft.


UPDATE - Lindsey Adams pleaded not guilty in Vilas County to charges including burglary and theft.  Her pre-trial conference is scheduled for July 17, 2012. 


Vilas County officials have arrested two people who they believe are responsible for a string of criminal activity.

According to a press release, officers have been investigating complaints of burglaries, thefts and criminal damage complaints between August 2011 and April 2012. The Vilas County Sheriff's Office searched a residence in the Town of St. Germain on May 11, 2012. Officers report they collected evidence that led them to 20-year-old Lindsey Alexis Adams and a male juvenile. Authorities arrested them on charges stemming from 45 separate incidents in Vilas County.

Adams is charged with two counts of burglary and nine misdemeanor counts of theft, criminal damage to property and possession of drug paraphernalia.  The male juvenile was referred to juvenile authorities for similar charges.
