Gov. Scott Walker spent Wednesday in Washington, D.C. talking jobs.

He joined governors from Delaware, Nebraska, and Utah on a panel to discuss job creation and economic recovery. The group included three Republicans and one Democrat.

Walker, fresh off his win in the recall election, said Wisconsin is business-friendly, and that most business leaders in the state are satisfied with how things are going.

"Two years ago when I ran, our statewide chamber of commerce did a survey, and ten percent of our employers thought we were headed in the right direction," said Walker. "Two months ago, that same survey came out. Ninety-four percent of our employers thought we were headed in the right direction."

On the panel, Nebraska's governor boasted the lowest unemployment rate at 3.9 percent—second best in the country. Wisconsin's unemployment rate sits at 6.7 percent—tied for 16th best.
