Packers announce training camp schedules


The Green Bay Packers are getting back to football, beginning July 26. The team announced their training camp schedule Thursday. 

On the schedule, six night practices and 20 practices overall at Ray Nitschke Field. According to a press release, training camp kicks off 8:15 a.m. Thursday, July 26. Morning practices continue July 27, 28, 30, 31 and Aug. 1. Each beginning at 8:15 a.m. 

The Packers will hold night practices Aug. 2, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 beginning at 7:00 p.m. 

The Packers preseason opener will be Aug. 9 at San Diego. Their first home preseason game is Aug. 16 against Cleveland at 7 p.m.

After the Cleveland game, the Packers will practice at 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 19-20 and at 11 a.m. on Aug. 21 heading into the Cincinnati game on Aug. 23.

Training camp wraps up with 11:15 a.m. sessions on Aug. 26-27 and an 11 a.m. practice on Aug. 28. The Packer's final preseason game is against Kansas City on Aug. 30.

In case of inclement weather, practices will be closed to the public due to space limitations inside the Don Hutson Center. 

The annual Packers Family Night is scheduled for Aug. 3 at Lambeau Field beginning at 5:30 p.m.
