7th Congressional District candidate opens Wausau headquarters
WAUSAU (WAOW) -
Democrat Pat Kreitlow opened the doors to a new office in downtown Wausau Saturday. He told a crowd he will work hard to boost the economy if elected to represent the 7th congressional district.
Kreitlow represented the 23rd senate district for five years and announced earlier this year plans to challenge Republican Congressman Sean Duffy.
"The current congress, Sean Duffy included, isn't doing anything in terms of getting the American economy to recover. There's no jobs agenda. There's nothing there for middle class families," Kreitlow told the crowd at his new office on Scott Street in Wausau.
In a press release, Sean Duffy's Campaign Manager Justin Richards fired back saying, "if Pat Kreitlow had his way, every middle-class family would pay more taxes and it would cost small businesses even more to create new jobs."
