D.C. Everest High School to add Health Enhancement Center
D.C. Everest High school is getting a new Health Enhancement Center.
The new facility will upgrade its weight room and add a dance studio. School leaders say the center will also provide additional classroom space.
The project was funded by donations. The largest, a $1 million contribution from the Robert & Ruth Greenheck Charitable Remainder Trust.
"This facility just won't be for students," said Todd Bohm, D.C. Everest High School Assistant Principal. "It's going to be a community facility that members of the everest community will be able to come and use the weight room and come and take these type of classes"
Officials say they hope to break ground soon. The project is expected to be completed by November.
