UPDATE: Body of missing swimmer recovered in Marathon County

MARATHON COUNTY (AP) -

Crews have recovered a body of a missing swimmer in Marathon County.

According to Marathon County Sheriff's Lt. Mark Wagers,  21-year-old Richard Drews went missing around 7:30 p.m. Friday on the Big Eau Pleine Reservoir. Wagers said Drews jumped out of a boat.

Crews recovered the man's body after 10:00 p.m. A Newsline 9 reporter on scene saw rescue boats returning to the Oxbo Boat Landing.

This is the second incident at the Big Eau Pleine Reservoir in the last three days. Rescue crews continue to search for a missing fisherman, Paul Locher, 48, of Kronenwetter.

Lt. Wagers also said this is the third drowning in the last two weeks in Marathon County.
