A La Crosse man has been found guilty of murdering his parents, a former Neillsville couple.
Eric Koula, 42, of West Salem, was found guilty of two counts of first degree intentional homicide. He was also found guilty of uttering a forgery.
The verdict came down just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in La Crosse. Jurors had deliberated since Monday afternoon.
Koula was charged in the murder of his parents at their Barre Mills home on May 21, 2010. Prosecutors had said Koula's motive was to collect inheritance money, while the defense said Koula loved his parents and wouldn't hurt them.
