UPDATE: No alcohol or drugs found in WI river drowning

The Portage County coroner's office says no drugs or alcohol showed up on toxicology report for a drowning back in July.

According to the Stevens Point Police Department, Jasper O'Keefe's body was recovered from the Wisconsin River, near Bukolt Park.

According to the Stevens Point Police Department the body recovered from the Wisconsin River has been identified as Jasper F. O'Keefe. O'Keefe was a resident of Stevens Point.

Stevens Point police have recovered the body of a 19-year-old male.

According to a news release from the Stevens Point Police Department, the body was recovered at around 5:30 p.m. from the Wisconsin River, just south of Bukolt Park.

Police are investigating. No further information has been released.
