1 missing Wis. autistic boy found alive, 2nd dead

Separate searches for autistic 5-year-old boys in Wisconsin have concluded, one under happy circumstances and the other in tragedy.

Both boys were reported missing Tuesday, one in Dane County and the other about 240 miles northwest in Pierce County.

The Pierce County sheriff's department reported Wednesday that Scott Meyer has been found. Details weren't provided, but the department says more information will be released later Wednesday.

The search for Jeremiah Conn ended in what police call "a tragic event." He disappeared from a home where his family was visiting, and was found dead in a retention pond a few blocks away.

Stoughton Police Chief Greg Leck tells WISC-TV (http://bit.ly/N8MF1P ) that authorities don't suspect foul play. He says it's just a tragedy.

Both boys were described as having limited communication skills.
