Peyton Medick of Weston saw her dream of carrying the Olympic torch become a reality. The 14-year old carried a torch through the streets of Aylesbury, England, as thousands of people lined the streets.
Medick is one of three Wisconsinites and 8,000 people around the globe selected to carry the torch, leading up to the start of the Summer Olympics in London July 27th.
Medick was selected because of her efforts to feed the hungry through her non-profit, Peyton's Promise. It has collected thousands of pounds of food and money to fight hunger.
