UPDATE - Wausau man sentenced after being found naked near whitewater course

UPDATE - The man police say was found naked near the Wausau whitewater course was sentenced to 45 days in jail and two years probation.
On October 31, 2012 Alan Gruna pleaded no contest and was found guilty of charges of lewd/lascivious behavior, resisting or obstructing an officer and bail jumping.
At the date of sentencing Gruna was credited with 11 days in jail.
Wausau police say officers found a naked man near a busy kayak course.

On-line court records show 27-year old Alan Gruna is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior.

A police report says Gruna was found, along with a woman in her undergarments, near the Wisconsin River.

That's where the International Canoe Federation Junior and World U23 Canoe Slalom World Championships are being held.

Police say both people appeared to be passed out.

The report says Gruna's blood alcohol level was .17.

Investigators say only some bushes separated the couple from all the spectators at Wausau's whitewater course.

On-line court records show Gruna made his initial appearance this afternoon and a signature bond was set at $1000.
